WWI German M1898 Quillback Bayonet
Item: GM3407

Original, WWI era German S98nA bayonet and scabbard.  Blade is proofed with imperial crown and W06 (1906) and maker marked "Alex Coppel, Solingen" Leather scabbard has proofs and is unit marked 36.R.8.232. Blade measures about 20-1/2 inches.  Scabbard fits blade poorly, does not seat completely.  The leather remains supple.
